Why this site exists

Most trading content online is either trying to sell you a course, a signal group, or copy trading. This site is none of those. It's a small set of tools and a journal we use ourselves, made public because every other version we tried was either bloated, ad-stuffed, or behind a paywall. Use whatever's useful, ignore the rest. Everything here will stay free.

FAQ
Is this really free?

Yes. The dashboard, the trade journal, the portfolio tracker, every tool, and every blog post are free. There is no paid tier, no upsell, no card on file. You sign up with an email and a password and that's it.

What can I actually do here?

Sign up to get a dashboard with a manual trade journal, an R-multiple equity curve, and a portfolio tracker that shows live BTC / ETH / SOL / XRP prices against your holdings. Or skip signing up entirely and use the position-size calculator, fiat converters, and other tools at /tools. The blog covers the boring foundational stuff — risk, drawdown, journaling — that most trading content skips.

Why do you ask for an email?

So your trade journal and portfolio entries persist across devices and survive a browser-cache wipe. Email is also the only way to recover access if you forget your password. We don't email-blast anyone — there's no newsletter and no third-party sharing. The email is for the account; that's it.

Where can I send feedback or a tool request?

If something is missing, broken, or could be sharper, the fastest channel is to open an account and send a note from the dashboard. Bug reports and "wish this existed" notes are both welcome.

Not financial advice. The tools, journal, portfolio tracker, and blog posts on this site are educational utilities — they help you record what you did and think clearly about risk. They are not a recommendation to trade, an offer of investment management, or a prediction of future results. Crypto markets are volatile and you can lose your entire deposit. You are responsible for every trade you place on your own account. Before risking real money, read up on the cognitive traps that catch most retail traders and only deploy capital you can afford to lose. Retired Today is not a registered investment adviser; we share tools and writing, we don't manage your money, and we accept no liability for your trading outcomes.
