Swap alerts
Swap alerts
Long-term BTC↔USDT rotation alerts using a trailing-stop strategy. You tell us how much BTC has to pull back from its peak before locking gains, and how much it has to rebound from a low before re-entering. We ping your phone when either condition fires. Lives at /swap. Paid feature — included with any access window.
How it works
You're either holding BTC or holding USDT. Each side has a trigger that watches a trailing extremum — not a fixed reference.
- Holding BTC, take-profit trigger. While you hold, we track the running peak BTC price. The moment BTC drops takeProfit% from that peak, we ping: "Consider swapping to USDT to lock the run." Lets winners keep running while a single fixed target wouldn't.
- Holding USDT, re-entry trigger. While you hold USDT, we track the running trough. When BTC rebounds reentry% from that low, we ping: "BTC has bottomed and rebounded — consider swapping back to BTC." Avoids buying a falling knife.
When a trigger fires, we flip the side and reset the trailing extremum to the current price. The next signal measures from this new baseline.
This is a slow-cadence strategy. Most users see one signal every few weeks to a few months, depending on how tight the thresholds are.
Configure
The /swap page has:
- Master switch — turn alerts on or off without losing your config.
- Currently holding — BTC or USDT. The side you're starting from.
- Reference price — your starting point. The trailing extremum begins here and updates each tick. The "Use current BTC as reference" button fills it in for you.
- Re-entry trigger (%) — how far BTC has to rebound from its post-sell low before we ping to re-enter.
- Take-profit trigger (%) — how far BTC has to drop from its post-buy peak before we ping to lock the gain.
Save the config and you're done. The BTC price gets checked every minute; you'll get pinged within about 60 seconds of the threshold crossing.
Picking your numbers
There's no right answer, but a few patterns help:
- Conservative: 15% up / 10% down. One or two signals a year.
- Balanced: 10% up / 7% down. A handful of signals across a market cycle.
- Active: 5% up / 4% down. More signals; more whiplash if the market chops.
Tighter thresholds catch more moves but also generate more "false flips" in choppy markets. Wider thresholds wait for real trends. Your call.
What we don't do
- We don't trade for you. This is an alert. You place the actual swap on your own exchange.
- We don't pick the levels. You set the reference and the percentages.
- We don't track your real holdings. The "side" we store is what you tell us; whether you actually swapped is on you.
Where signals get delivered
Push to whichever device you set up. Same delivery channel as the live signal feed at /signals. If you haven't set up delivery yet, the step-by-step walkthrough on /account covers it.
Limits
- BTC only for now. ETH/SOL/XRP swap alerts may come later.
- Reference must be a real number > 0; thresholds must be 1–100%.
- History: last 20 events kept per user. Older events drop off.
